Flora & Fauna Art Workshop with Laura Browne

Join our very own Front of House Coordinator Extraordinaire, Laura, for this extra special art workshop looking at patterns in textiles, with a focus on flora and fauna.

Exploring repeat patterns using the "folded paper technique", Laura will guide you to create your very own hand drawn repeat pattern. This workshop is inspired by nature and organic forms, drawing on artworks by William Morris and the Liberty art fabrics.

Laura is a practicing artist who finds beauty in the organic, weaving artefacts and objects with nature into surreal compositions. Laura enjoys using fine line pens to create intricate and delicate designs. A graduate of Leeds College of Art, Laura studied Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design.
