Ceilidh Dance with the Hedgepigs

Come along and join us for a joyful afternoon of Ceilidh dancing with the fabulous Hedgepigs folk band!

A ceilidh is the Gaelic word for gathering, with folk music and traditional dancing, from across the British Isles. Similar to barn and country dancing, there will be a caller who will take you through the moves and its going to be fun and exhilarating. No knowledge of Ceilidh dancing is required, the Hedgepigs will guide us through the steps. Expect an afternoon of laughter, sillyness and glee!

The Hedgepigs caller is Claremont's very own Amy, and the band are super excited to bring to their traditional folk music and dance to the centre. The band includes a violin, accordian, mandolin, guitar and banjo!

Can't wait to swing around and do-si-do!
