Marianne Williams, BSc Hons, RD, MSc Allergy - Marianne was one of the first 10 dietitians to be trained by King’s College London in the Low FODMAP Diet in 2010. Since then she has advised thousands of patients and pioneered the creation of the first UK NHS 'Dietetic-Led Primary Care Gastroenterology Clinic'.
Her research has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals and she has worked as an accomplished Advanced Clinical Practitioner for Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. Renowned for her work in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), she has earned multiple prestigious accolades, including NHS England Allied Health Professional of the Year, winning the NHS Digital Practice Award, receiving the National Institute for Health & Care Excellence (NICE) Shared Learning Award and the Outstanding Contribution of the Year from the Digital Health Awards. Marianne holds an MSc with distinction from Southampton Medical School and is a member of the British Dietetic Association and the Health & Care Professions Council.
Dr Massimo Barcellona, PhD BSc Hons, MCSP HCPC AFHEA AACP - Massimo is a Consultant Physiotherapist and Clinical Researcher with expertise in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal problems and associated conditions. Massimo has worked extensively as a leader, clinician, educator and researcher. Massimo is passionate about people and about evidence based medicine. He is a detail person, and he combines this with an extensive understanding of how the micro and macro fit together. He is a Consultant Physiotherapist (Musculoskeletal) at Kings Hospital, Consultant Physiotherapist at Surrey Hills Physiotherapy and is a Peer Reviewer in Physiotherapy, Physical Therapy in Sport, NIHR, HTA, and co-principal investigator for HTA funded ACL SNAAP trial.
