Support Events in Henstridge and keep the High Street safe

CLASH is helping to raise funds for the Judicial Review against Somerset Council and the Interested Party, Barratts/David Wilson Homes.

The JR is about safety in the high street and preventing development of 130 houses at the south end of the high street, when all facilities including the post office, village hall, public houses, recreation ground and school are all at the north end. The development is therefore unsustainable and was ONLY approved subject to improved pedestrian safety. This condition was attached when plans were past on appeal and improvement had to be approved prior to development. No such workable plans have been submitted.
