Artificial Intelligence (AI) is infiltrating every aspect of life. In this session we will discuss how it is already improving the design, construction and operation of commercial buildings. Our moderator, Christopher Toddy, AIA, will provide background information before we turn it over to our speaker from Vocon who will demonstrate their AI generated virtual design studio and discuss how AI is optimizing the way design professionals are approaching their process. We'll hear from Turner Construction on the various ways they use AI in simulations and production tracking as well as an interesting way they have incorporated this new technology to ensure job safety. Gardiner will bring us up to date on the ways AI has improved the HVAC industry and building automation systems (BAS), allowing for improved energy efficiency in our buildings. Sustainable Energy Services will walk us through how they have used ChatGPT for data analyses, dramatically cutting their process time. Our presenters will offer case studies and we'll be sure to leave time for Q&A.
