The Carbon Literacy Project aims to grow awareness of the carbon costs of everyday activities, and how to reduce emissions for individuals, communities and organisations.
So far over 150,000 individuals and nearly 14,000 organisations have completed its training programmes and are certified as carbon literate.
Local business Full Circle Funerals is accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project to deliver training and, as part of their commitment to sustainability, have agreed to work with us to run online training over two half days on 22 June and 26 June. Each session will start at 1 pm.
The total price of the training will be £35 per person to cover Full Circle's costs (compared with the usual charge of over £100). To make the session viable, we will need a minimum of eight people to attend.
As the organiser of the event, anyone signing up to attend and who is able to do so is asked to make a donation to Climate Action Ilkley to support our ongoing work.
