Climate Hub BANES Film Night and Q&A: Rave on for the Avon!

Join us for an inspiring evening of film, conversation and community as we celebrate and protect our beautiful River Avon.

We’ll be screening Rave on for the Avon, followed by a Q&A with @mrs_meg_avon. A key figure in the documentary and a passionate voice for our rivers.

Meg is known for her symbolic act of marrying the River Avon to highlight its personhood and campaign for its protection from pollution. She’s a Bristol-bred poet and an activist with the Conham Bathing Group, working tirelessly to improve the river’s water quality for everyone.
