Climate Majority Forum
Sat 15 Mar 2025 9:30 AM - Sun 16 Mar 2025 5:00 PM
Limehouse Town Hall, E14 7HA
Description
What does a serious mainstream climate movement look like? How do we mobilise the majority of citizens who care about climate, but don't know what to do about it?
The inspiration for this forum came out of a feeling many of us shared that there should be a space where anyone who resonates with what the CMP is advocating for can show up and meet the others in person. The event will be facilitated by Maria O’Connor and Ivo Mensch, who are CMP friends but not core members of the team.
The format will include interactive workshops, inspiring presentations, open space for networking and sharing your personal experience, shared vision building and discussions of difficult questions in the climate movement. Together, we are working to create spaces that allow for political diversity, differing views and opinions amongst people who share a reverence and desire to protect nature and society.
Tickets include lunch, dinner and refreshments, but not accommodation. We can suggest places to sleep over and could even connect you with someone to book an airbnb with if that is an issue.
We are trying to keep costs as low as possible, but if you feel that these options aren’t affordable for you, please reach out at connect@climatemajorityproject.com as we have subsidised spots.
