TASTER / Q&A - LEGO Serious Play for Sustainability with Climate Play
Multiple dates and times
Online, Zoom
Description
Join and find out for yourself how the humble LEGO brick can help support reflection, conversation and action on sustainability. In this hour long session, Lucy Hawthorne (Climate Play's Founder) will take you through the basics of the LEGO®️ Serious Play®️ approach and how it can help deepen engagement on sustainability topics and bring in a wider crowd.
We will give ideas on how to use the approach yourselves, share previous case studies and also ways to get involved with Climate Play, whether by training as a facilitator yourself, joining public workshops or collaborating with us.
Expect to be building and thinking a little differently than usual! Bring some LEGO bricks if you have some.
Train as a Facilitator:
- Training in the core skills of LEGO Serious Play for Sustainability and explore how you could integrate the approach in your world.
- Public training programmes for consultants, facilitators, educators, coaches etc already working in sustainability engagement.
- In-house and bespoke training for organisations leading sustainability engagement projects.
Climate Play is only LSP training provider in the world specialising in teaching the method to support sustainability engagement. Our training emphasises flexibility in the approach and helping you to understand how to best use and adapt it to your context. It is fun, warm, effective and not at all boring...
See here for trainings in 2025 in London (UK) in March and May and Bristol in April (UK).

Bring some LEGO if you have some :)
Bring a couple of handfuls of random LEGO if you have some (the more varied in size, shape and colour the better). If you don't have any, then just bring a couple of handfuls of random objects from your house.
Who should come?
- Anyone looking for new skills for their sustainability engagement toolbox eg: educators, consultants, facilitators, coaches, comms folk or something similar and who work on sustainability engagement or communication some of the time.
- Anyone looking for something inventive, different and still effective to add to conferences, seminars, workshops, away days etc.
- Anyone interested in positive disruption and gentle radicalism :)
