Quick Fire Talks: Buildings and Energy

Join us for another inspiring session of the Lambeth Climate Partnerships 'Quick Fire Talks.'  This edition we will be discussing 'Buildings and Energy.'

Come along to listen and for a chance to connect, learn, and spark new ideas over drinks and nibbles!

Event Highlights:

• 17:00 - 17:30 – Arrivals and drinks. Welcome by Saltren Rogers, Head of Facilities Management at CLS Holdings.
• 17:30 - 18:00 – A series of short, focused talks: speakers from across the industry will share practical insights. Including:
  • Rachel Krengel, from Repowering London, on the role of community in energy, heat and homes and how we can make sure the technology and the transition work for the people most impacted by it.
  • Ewure Esi, Community researcher at Repowering London on materials and buildings.
  • Pippa Corbett, Principal Consultant at Arcadis, on how district heat networks can drive large-scale decarbonisation while connecting buildings to cleaner, more resilient energy systems.
  • Dr Benjamin Lishman, Associate Dean at London South Bank University, who will highlight current research projects happening at the university on buildings and energy.
  • Mehrnaz Tajmir's closing notes on next steps on the Local Area Energy Planning.
    
• 18:00 - 18:30 – Networking and nibbles.
