The role and authority of community pharmacists is expanding with pharmacists engaging in more in-depth provision of pharmaceutical care, including the assessment and treatment of minor ailments. The Clinical Pharmacists Academy has been developed to support community-based clinical pharmacists by providing practical support tools, education, networking opportunities, and helping independent pharmacies with business operations.
