About this event
Third Thursdays are Queer Night at the Tasting Room. We’re here, we’re queer, and we’re ready to serve you alcohol-free beer!
Whether you come alone or come with friends, the cosy, welcoming setting of the Tasting Room makes our regular Queer Night a great way to have fun and meet fellow LGBTQ people without alcohol being the focus.
Our well-stocked alcohol-free bar will be serving drinks and snacks throughout the evening. So whether you’re after the best in alcohol-free beers, perfectly crafted cocktails, full-bodied reds or the satisfying bubbles of great sparkling wine, we’ve got you covered. Plus, the friendly, knowledgeable team will also be on hand to guide you through a great selection of drinks you can buy for drinking at home.
What to expect?
- We are an alcohol-free bar, and the whole venue is taken over for QWB. We have what you expect bar table seating and a speakeasy downstairs, which is a bit quieter. Feel free to bring a board game or cards!
- Most people come on their own to Queers Without Beer, so we ensure you are introduced to others and make new friends.
- Bar prices range from £3.50, and we have soft drinks, simple bar snacks, and alcohol-free drinks. We have bar snacks plus small plates and pizzas from our neighbours at Caravan
- You can arrive any time between 6 and 8pm
- Feel free to invite friends or arrange a date!
- Space for larger groups if you want to come with your club or society, book you table here.
If you want to branch out in your sober socialising, Queer Night at the Tasting Room is for you. Read our accessibility information for wheelchair users, carers and others.
For September's Queers Without Beers
This month we’re joined by our founding partners @londonfriendlgbt, local drug and alcohol support service @TPCentralLondon and the amazing LGBT+ community group @westlondonqueerproject. Alongside trying alcohol free drinks and meeting fellow queers, there will be a chance to find out more about support available around chemsex, alcohol and drugs and to find out more about West London Queer Project’s social calendar.
