Michael started his own Hampshire-based speciality food business in the 1980s and grew it into a global brand, exporting to over 35 countries. Now an International Trade Adviser at DBT, he supports food and drink businesses across southern England—ranging from household brands to ambitious startups—on their export journeys. With a portfolio of around 150 clients, generating hundreds of millions of pounds in overseas sales, Michael brings practical insight and sector know-how to building export strategies that work.
