September 11, 2001 marks the anniversary of a day most of us promised to never forget!

The CNY Memorial Stair Climb committee has committed to fulfilling that promise to "NEVER FORGET" their brothers and sisters who died in the line of duty by holding "A climb to remember..." in memory of the 343 firefighters, 70 law enforcement officers and 9 EMTs that perished on September 11th with the collapse of the Twin Towers. First responders from the northeast region and beyond climb 110 floors (the height of the former World Trade Center Twin Towers) all while carrying a memorial tag with the fallen on it, and then place it on a memorial board at the completion of their climb.

The event is not a race, but rather a tribute honoring the sacrifices of fallen heroes - both near and far. Proceeds from the event go to various beneficiaries that can be found on our webpage at: www.cnystairclimb.com
