Guided Charity Hike to raise funds for Heart Children Ireland in memory of my brother who would have been celebrating his 56th birthday this month.

About the trail

This enchanting trail is located on Howth Head, a small peninsula which has a lot of history and tons of stunning views, just a few kilometres northeast of Dublin. 

Although it can be rather challenging in places there are coastal paths in places so may not be suitable for very young children. 

Along the 12 km trail you will get great views of Dublin Bay, the ever-changing ocean, the two lighthouses and magnificent high cliffs and will experience the beautiful woodlands and beaches here. 

The wildlife in this area will not disappoint either; there are many species of both flora and fauna to be found. 

This trail is also popular with trail runners but beware, there are no refreshment points on the trail so stock up beforehand.

Please ensure proper footwear is worn, bring rain gear, water and lunch.
