Whether you're preparing to query literary agents, looking for editorial feedback or simply want professional guidance on your writing and next steps, our one-to-one appointments give you the opportunity to sit down with an experienced literary agent or commissioning editor at Coastal Crime Fiction Festival 2027.

These individual consultations are a chance to receive personalised feedback, ask questions about your work and gain valuable insight into the publishing industry.

Booking Information

• 12-minute one-to-one consultation with your chosen agent or editor
• Appointments begin every 15 minutes, allowing a short changeover between attendees
• £70 per appointment
• Advance booking is essential
• Places are strictly limited
• You must hold a valid Coastal Crime Fiction Festival ticket (Full, Day or Part-Day) to book an appointment
• One-to-one appointments are booked separately from your festival ticket
• Appointments take place in a dedicated consultation room, with each agent or editor seated at their own table
• Please arrive at the consultation area at least five minutes before your allocated time. Late arrivals may lose part or all of their appointment and refunds cannot be offered

Before Your Appointment

All appointments require a submission pack containing:

• Covering letter
• One-page synopsis
• First three chapters (up to 5,000 words)

Please compile all three items into a single document and attach it to your email.

The submission deadline is Sunday 7 February 2027.

Submission packs will be collated by the Coastal Crime team and passed directly to your chosen agent or editor ahead of the festival.
