Meet our industry professionals
We're delighted to welcome a fantastic line-up of literary agents and publishing professionals to Coastal Crime 2027.
Each professional has their own profile explaining their background, the genres they represent or edit, what they're looking for, and any submission requirements before you book.
Booking Information
- 12-minute one-to-one consultation with your chosen agent or editor.
- Appointments begin every 15 minutes, with a short changeover period between attendees to ensure the schedule runs smoothly.
- £70 per appointment.
- Advance booking is essential.
- Places are strictly limited.
- A valid Coastal Crime Festival ticket (Full, Day or Part-Day) is required to book an appointment.
- Appointments take place in a dedicated consultation room, with each agent or editor seated at their own table so that multiple consultations can take place simultaneously.
- Please arrive at the consultation area at least five minutes before your allocated time. Late arrivals may lose part or all of their appointment and refunds cannot be offered.
Before Your Appointment
Please read each agent or editor's profile carefully before booking to ensure they are the right fit for your work.
All appointments require a submission pack that includes:
- Covering letter
- One Page Synopsis
- First 3 chapters (up to 5,000 words)
Please compile all these materials into a single document and attach it to your email.
The submission deadline is Sunday, 7th February.
Submission packs will be collated by the Coastal Crime team and passed directly to your chosen agent or editor.
