Cobalt Medical Charity provides vital diagnostic imaging to support the NHS, helping people affected by cancer, dementia and other serious conditions. Each year, we deliver high‑quality MRI, CT and PET/CT scans to over 160,000 patients through our Imaging Centres in Cheltenham and Birmingham and our fleet of mobile scanners, which bring advanced imaging directly to hospitals and communities across the UK.

We invest in cutting‑edge technology not routinely available within the NHS, ensuring faster scans, exceptional image quality and improved comfort for patients who may be anxious or unwell.

As a charity, we also support specialist healthcare roles and contribute to important research in cancer, dementia and other conditions, working with experts to improve diagnosis and care for patients now and in the future.
