Thinking of applying to Cockpit? Join us for the Awards Information Evening on 29 May 2024, 5:30-7pm at Cockpit Deptford.

This is an opportunity to find out more about Cockpit and hear from some of our current awardees about their journey and how winning an award at Cockpit has helped them. You'll learn about how to apply and some tips on what the panel are looking for at interviews. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and meet the Cockpit team and makers.

Please note: the event starts at 5:30 pm though we advise you to come in early and get settled.

Cockpit Awards

Thanks to our generous funders, we are able to offer a number of Awards & Bursaries each year. These are funded places, which mean you get a free (or heavily subsidised) studio space for 1-3 years, giving you the time and space to develop your practice. You are also enrolled on our bespoke business training programme and get a dedicated business coach to work with you to define your goals and work towards them. Receiving a Cockpit Award is a tremendous achievement and an opportunity to work alongside leaders in the industry.
