Floral Embroidery with Ashley Jess Knight

Join textile designer Ashley Jess Knight to make your own textile art using waste and deadstock materials. In this workshop, you will learn some basic couching stitches, a simple but effective 3D embroidery stitch, before moving onto creating your own floral themed art piece to take home. Participants will be provided with a pre-made fabric floral motif in an embroidery hoop which they can decorate with the couching stitches they have learnt, as well as a variety of beads and sequins to customise their artwork.
