Demonstration: Porcelain Casting with Helen Johannessen

Porcelain casting or slip casting is a ceramic forming technique used by craft potters to create a wide range of precise and intricate forms.

In this demonstration, Helen Johannessen will showcase two traditional techniques: porcelain casting into a multi-piece mould — including a grand reveal of the cast object — and mixing and pouring plaster to capture different textures and surface details.
