Please note: all children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Join interdisciplinary artist Ted Tinkler for a creative workshop rooted in appliqué quilt techniques. You'll work together to create a miniature patchwork banner that you can take with you and display at home. 

During the workshop, you'll work towards making a banner that combines words and phrases that are meaningful to you, while learning about traditional quilt patterns and the stories that they convey. The workshop will share a range of introductory techniques but give you room to create and play something that is uniquely your own. 

Our workshops are family-friendly and suitable for all. Children under 10 may need a little help from their accompanying adult, while children over 10 are welcome to join independently as parents or carers relax in our on-site café.

Tickets are £20 for a duo (one adult and one child) or £25 for a trio (one adult and two children) to attend together,  If you wish to attend with a larger group, please book two or more tickets.
