A multi-disciplinary light installation, live performance showcase, and fundraiser event; highlighting CO*LAB’s dynamic arts venue, talented local performers and innovative creatives. This immersive community showcase will introduce new audience members to our space, help stimulate CO*LAB’s post-covid financial recovery, and support cutting-edge, innovative community arts and cultural programming in the Boyle St. neighbourhood. For ultimate accessibility, Lightfall will be presented in-person as well as live-streamed. As part of this event, CO*LAB’s gallery and theatre spaces will be illuminated by an inaugural LIGHTFALL Installation; Light projection mapping throughout the venue, in partnership with About Light YEG and local projection artists, launching on October 14, 2022, and on display in the gallery.

Sokaris Studio is an interdisciplinary design studio that blends art and technology. Sokaris works with artists to highlight their work using new technologies such as projection mapping, 3D development and augmented reality. Sokaris’ personal and collaborative work has been shown and displayed at The Flying Canoe Festival, The Art Gallery of Alberta, KDays, The Edmonton Valley Zoo, and throughout downtown Edmonton as part of various vibrancy campaigns.
