Collaborating for Social Change: Shared Learning
FOLLOWING THE LAUNCH OF OUR GUIDE TO COLLABORATION, WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US FOR A SERIES OF LUNCHTIME CONVERSATIONS EXPLORING THE SIX FOUNDATIONS OF EFFECTIVE COLLABORATION.
Last year, we published our Guide to Collaboration — a short summary of what we've learned about how to create sustained, effective collaborations for social change. Core to the Guide are the 'six foundations for effective collaboration', which we are exploring in more detail in this series of follow-up conversations.
In this session, we will focus on how learning together is fundamental to enabling your collaboration with others. We'll share what effective learning spaces and methods can look like and how you can develop a culture that promotes learning among you and those you work with.
We will also be joined by Angie Greany, Senior Service Manager for the Making it Happen programme, an Asset Based Community Development Programme in East Sussex. Angie will be sharing about how the programme has fostered a culture of learning among the multiple delivery partners and what space they’ve needed to create for this to develop. We’ll also explore how the programme is bringing together ‘fellow travellers’ from across the local area to build a larger community of learning and a movement to demonstrate the value that ABCD approaches can offer.
This is an open lunchtime event for all those interested in working better together across systems. We'll be inviting ideas and insight from all so please do join us and share your experiences.
