Industrial Site Loan Fund & Business Recruitment Info Session
Industrial Site Loan Fund & Business Recruitment Info Session

Oregon has put $25 million on the table. The question is whether Lane County is ready to claim its share.
Industrial sites do not attract new employers simply because land is available. They win projects when infrastructure is in place, development barriers have been addressed, and communities are prepared to move when opportunity arrives.
Business Oregon’s new Industrial Site Loan Fund could help turn local industrial properties from “promising” into project-ready. The program offers forgivable loans of up to $250,000 for site planning and development loans of up to $4 million for acquisition, infrastructure, environmental remediation, construction, and other critical improvements.
This is not a presentation built around hypotheticals. Collaborative EDO has helped Lane County communities compete successfully for state industrial land funding before, including co-authoring an application that secured more than $2 million to advance a major Coburg industrial site.
Join Sam Thomas, Industrial Lands Specialist at Business Oregon, and Matt Sayre, Executive Director of Collaborative Economic Development Oregon, for a practical, candid conversation about:
- Which properties and projects may qualify
- How public entities and private property owners can participate
- What makes an application competitive
- How to move a site from concept to construction
- What applicants should be doing now
If you represent a city, county, port, airport district, tribal government, economic development organization, commercial real estate firm, development company, or own industrial property with untapped potential, this session is for you.
The funding is available. The opportunity is real. Do not let an unprepared site become a missed opportunity.
