Explore rugged river bends, sweeping rock walls, and one of Victoria’s most dramatic gorge landscapes.

Join Columbia Sportswear Australia for a guided community hike through Werribee Gorge State Park, just over an hour west of Melbourne. This spectacular 8 km route follows the river through steep, rocky country shaped by volcanic activity and deep-water erosion. Expect rich geological history, rugged scenery, and incredible views along the gorge rim.

This hike is perfect for anyone looking to explore somewhere new, connect outdoors, and enjoy a rewarding adventure close to the city.

🌿 What to Expect
We’ll follow the main Werribee Gorge circuit, beginning with a gentle climb before descending toward the river and into the heart of the gorge. The trail blends open viewpoints with narrow rocky sections, riverbank walking, and string-line tracks where we may use cables for balance along the cliff edge. It’s a fun, engaging hike that offers a little bit of everything.

We’ll move at a relaxed, social pace with plenty of time to take in the views, chat with others, and pause together along the river. After completing the loop, we’ll return to the trailhead to finish the walk as a group.
