Join hike lead Andy for a guided 20km hike, exploring the peaks & ridge lines of Kinglake National Park. Beginning at Jehosaphat Gully Picnic Area, we'll make our way through towering Mountain Ash forest and lush native bushland as we tackle three of the park's highest peaks: Mt Meggary, Mt Everard and Mt Jerusalem.
🌿 What to Expect
This is one of our more challenging hikes, with plenty of distance, long climbs and rewarding ridge line views. Expect a solid day on the trail, shared with a friendly group of hikers. This is a social, community-focused hike, but it's also an advanced track. The route includes several long ascents & descents, uneven surfaces and potentially muddy of slippery sections following rain. You don't need to be an expert hiker, but you should have a good level of fitness and feel comfortable walking more than 20kms across hilly terrain. This event is best suited to hikers who have previously completed a moderate-to-challenging day hike.
