On the west coast of Florida, in a community not unlike Tampa Bay, at a garden by the sea, a white latticed gazebo sits. Inside is a phone used to speak to the dead, or to God, or to the universe. 

Inspired by a collection of articles from Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Lane DeGregory of the Tampa Bay Times, Out of The Blue, revolves around its callers - the dreamers, the skeptics, the believers, the lovers, the strangers, the beauty pageant queens, the weathermen, the statue of liberties, the grieving mothers, the grieving sons, the dressers, the tax employees, and everyone in between – looking for understanding in a world seemingly void of any.

Seating is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. For free events, Schapiro generally overbooks to ensure a full house. The Box office will open 30 minutes before the curtain. At that time, you will be able to put your name on the standby list. All unclaimed tickets are released 5 minutes before start time, so we recommend that you arrive early.
