Permian Basin Gives for COM Aquatics, Inc.

This summer, the nonprofits of our region to come together for Permian Basin Gives, a day of giving focused on our community nonprofits.

The Permian Basin is known for its strength and resilience. Throughout history, the people of this region have faced challenges head-on with grit and determination. In 2020, the COVID-19 Pandemic and dramatic decline of the oil and gas industry have created a perfect storm in our community, yet the nonprofits of Midland and Odessa continue to ensure the citizens receive critical services and support. This special giving day event will bring a focus to the need of the nonprofits serving in the Permian Basin and create a network of support as we continue providing the critical services so needed by our citizens.

COM needs your help!

COM is not immune to the financial impact, nor are our members. We have heard many reports of reduced income and job layoffs. COM made the decision early on to retain as many members as possible, including offering temporary scholarships for anyone who reported job loss or significant earnings reduction. COM is participating in Permian Basin Gives in order to raise funds to offset the scholarships we are offering to members hit hardest by the pandemic and market downturn, as well as to boost general operating costs, which includes employee salaries and building operational costs.

Please hold your donation and mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 25th so that your gift can be maximized! Only gifts received between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, August 25th will be counted toward our goal. Donations can be accepted online, or in-person on August 25.
