The Mike Munson Trio

The Mike Munson Trio elevates and enhances Mike's rich catalog of songs that feature his adept slide guitar playing and a reverence for tradition. He is joined by the powerful rhythm section comprised of Nick Salisbury on bass and Lars-Erik Larson on drums. Each member brings years of experience and an inclination for improvisation to the stage. Together they explore new territory, creating a sound that dances between early American rock and roll, gritty blues and modern jazz. Since forming in the fall of 2023 they have enjoyed notable appearances at esteemed regional music festivals, rowdy nights at dive bars and a moving performance at a fine art museum overlooking the Mississippi river.

This trio is a new creation, so we don’t have any live footage yet. You’ll have to come see it to believe it! In the meantime, here is a session of Mike playing with another shed vet, Mikkel Beckmen, to give you a glimpse into just one of Mike’s styles and textures.

• Support the Artists: All ticket proceeds go to the artists
• Nature Walks: Arrive an hour early to enjoy a peaceful walk on our trails. It's a great way to decompress before the show. Remember to wear suitable walking or hiking shoes.
• Stay Hydrated: Bring along a water bottle. We have a filling station on-site for your convenience.
• BYOB & Snacks: You're welcome to bring your own beverages and snacks. 
• Venue Terrain: Our venue boasts dusty dirt floors. Choose your footwear and attire accordingly.
• Limited Capacity: Our events are limited to 50 guests and have been known to sell out. 
• Address and Timing: The address will be provided upon ticket purchase. Doors at 6:00 PM ; Music at 7:30
• Liability Notice: Please note that the property owners do not assume liability for any accidents or injuries that occur on the premises. Guests attend at their own risk.
