Step by step guide to reduce your building’s carbon impact

Description
“The road to net zero begins with a first step, even just a baby step.”...
Trying to reduce the amount of carbon that you, your business and your stakeholders use, is an essential part of planning for the future. Today is Climate Emergency Day and every little bit that we can do will improve your building’s response to the climate emergency and create meaningful change in your community.
This Carbon Reduction Plan is aimed to help you to look at your operations across a range of topics – from travel to finance, waste to food - to consider what changes you can make and set some goals for when you will do them by.
If you complete your DIY Energy Check (see our event on Wednesday 3 July) and a Carbon Reduction Plan your building will be eligible to apply for one of 30 technical energy audits (worth £700) later in 2024. First applications for these audits open 30 September – 11 October 2024.
