About Sue: Sue is a dedicated Knaresborough resident with extensive experience in community leadership. She led the team that brought Chain Lane Community Centre into community ownership from 2010 to 2015. As the founding CEO of Your Consortium (now Better Connect), she helped secure over £22 million in funding for the voluntary and community sector across West and North Yorkshire, collaborating with over 200 partner organisations. In 2016, she established her own consultancy to enhance capacity and capability in various partners and re-joined the Chain Lane team in September 2021.
