Introduction to Feather Stone Healing - ancient ways in a modern world

Are you on a journey of finding yourself? Would you like to connect more deeply to your true nature? And to those around you?
Feather Stone Healing is lots of things. But primarily it’s a journey of unconditional love, through the heart, to the ‘self’. It’s a re-remembering of who we truly are and that we are not separate from each other, or from Mother Earth.

These workshops are intended as an introduction to this beautiful transformative art using (as the name suggests) feathers and stones. You will experience a re-connection to your heart and to Mother Earth, and learn how re-ignite unconditional love. 

Sat 22nd June  – Feathers
We will welcome the winged ones and the element of Air. We will explore how to use feathers as a tool for healing. Feathers are powerful, yet gentle allies. We can think of them as blades, or knives cutting away energetic debris and uprooting and removing old dead ‘stuff’ that’s no longer serving us. But we can also think of them as tools to calm and smooth and open up our energy body. It is by clearing blockages that we can open ourselves to receive love.

Sat 27th July – Stones
We will welcome the stones and the element of Earth. We will explore how to use stones as a tool for transformation.
Stones are strong and grounded and able to absorb unhelpful or heavy energies. They can help us to feel more grounded and less ‘in our heads'. They enable transformation on a deeper level – physically, mentally and emotionally. Stones have been around a very long time and they are very wise old souls.

Sat 24th Aug – Feather & Stone together
We will gather together and learn how to bring these two powerful tools together for transformation and heart-opening.

Note: 

1) To benefit fully from this work we recommend booking for all 3 dates as this work is progressive. If you cannot do the 3 dates, some catch up might be possible.

2)  With this work, you will be able to work with family, friends and with the self. If you would like to work with the public, further training is required.

3) Feathers and stones will be provided on the day. You are also very welcome to bring Feathers and Stones that you already connect with.  

4) Please bring a blanket, a notebook and a snack. Tea, water and cups will be provided. 

ABOUT ALI TAYLOR

Ali is a skilled and experienced Shamanic, Sound, Energy Practitioner and a Yoga Teacher based in Fife. She works with clients one to one and with groups. Her passions in life are teaching and helping people to improve their health, happiness and wellbeing. She works in a heart-based and on a intuitive way and specialises in helping people deal with trauma, pain and anxiety. She is also a spiritual life coach, helping people navigate their spiritual journey.

WHERE : Meet at The Yurt at the Planetary Healing Community Woodland, Cockburnhill Road, Balerno, EH14 7JB. Bus 44 / 44A. At the village, stop at the third bus stop after the roundabout. From there, enter Cockburnhill Road and walk for approximately 15 minutes and at the V junction turn right and walk for 2 minutes until you see the Planetary Healing sign on your left. Once you've reached the sign, enter the woodland and follow the stream, crossing the bridges as you go.

PARKING: No parking in front of the woodland. Please park near Pirnie Ha' House. If you are driving, disregard the SAT Nav instructions at the very end as it will direct you to another farm. From Pirnie Ha', proceed straight ahead until you reach the V junction, turn right and continue walking for approximately 2 minutes. See instructions above.

WEATHER: Mix of indoors and outdoors session, please bring warm and waterproof layers to wear.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Space is limited, so if for any reason you need to cancel, please let us know asap, so we can free up the space for others on the waiting list. Due to the amount of work involved, donations are non-refundable.

WHAT TO BRING: We will provide tea and cups. If your group is 3 hours or longer, please bring a packed lunch

PHOTOS: Occasionally we take group pictures for promotions, reports, funders, newsletter and social media. If you would prefer not to be in the picture, please communicate this to the facilitator on arrival.
