Ancestral Circles for Women - New Moon 2025

Time: 18:30pm to 20:30pm and sharing a cup of tea with the men's group afterwards.

Ancestral Circles for Women – Reclaiming Wisdom, Healing intergenerational traumas

The Ancestral Circle is a sacred space for women to reconnect with their lineage, honor their roots, and awaken the wisdom carried through generations.

Through deep exploration of our ancestral ties, we embark on a journey of empowerment—acknowledging and healing intergenerational wounds, reclaiming lost knowledge, and restoring the strength of our lineage. This work nurtures resilience, brings profound meaning to our lives, and fosters healing that extends beyond ourselves to future generations.

In these gatherings, you will receive tools and guidance to explore your ancestral connections, release inherited patterns that no longer serve you and your family, and cultivate a renewed sense of belonging and purpose.

While Claudia facilitates this work, Mark facilitates the men's counterpart, both offering deep spaces for healing and personal development so you are welcome to invite your partner to participate as well.

Following these sessions, both groups converge at approximately 8:30 PM in the YURT at 5 Cockdurno Farm for connection and sharing an hour of community time together.

About Claudia Goncalves

Claudia, co-founder of the Planetary Healing Centre, is a visionary leader with over 30 years of experience in creating transformative wellbeing projects across Scotland. Her work continues to empower individuals and communities, fostering deep healing and connection.

She is also passionate about supporting indigenous people in her homeland, Brazil, with the Indigenous Project. 

Claudia is an accomplished author as well, having written the book Shamanism as Medicine.

WEATHER: We will be cosy inside the YURT where we have a wood-burner stove, flab-back confortable seats, blankets and tea.  We will also have access to the garden.

If however, you are someone who can contribute, it helps us cover core costs that usually are not supported by funders. Cash donation on the day is also okay.

WHERE : Meet at 5 Cockdurno Farm, Balerno, EH14 7HZ. Bus 44 / 44A. At the village, stop at the third bus stop after the roundabout. From there, enter Cockburnhill Road and walk for approximately 12 minutes turning left following the signs to FREE Company. Just before the big farm house turn left to the cottages. We are the last cottage on your left and will meet you in the yurt at the garden. 

PARKING: Free parking nearby. Please park beyond our house so our neighbours have their parking space free.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Space is limited, so if for any reason you need to cancel, please let us know asap, so we can free up the space for others on the waiting list. Due to the amount of work involved, donations are non-refundable.

PHOTOS: Occasionally we take group pictures for promotions, reports,  funders, newsletter and social media. If you would prefer not to be in the picture, please communicate this to the facilitator on arrival.
