ABOUT THIS WORK

In these sessions David will guide a gentle yet profound journey into embodiment and connection. Through a combination of mindful movement, stillness, and sound, participants will be invited to explore the intelligence of the body and the subtle language of energy. Each session weaves together movement practices, deep listening, vocal or instrumental sound, and moments of receiving—creating space for expression, release, and integration.

The work offers a space to connect more fully with the present moment, awaken the body’s innate wisdom, and access deeper layers of self and source. Whether moving, sitting, or sounding, the invitation is to return to a sense of wholeness and inner alignment, supported by the shared field of the group and the natural rhythms of life.

ABOUT DAVID

David has been deeply drawn to movement and sound since childhood, sensing early on their transformative potential. Over the years, he has explored how these elements weave together to deepen our connection to self and to the greater whole—inviting presence, releasing stagnation, and awakening the embodied expression of our true nature. Whether tension arises from physical, emotional, or ancestral roots (often a mix of all three), David’s work supports release, integration, and realignment.

He began practicing martial arts at the age of 8 and has been immersed in Qi Gong and Tai Qi for over 25 years. His meditation journey spans more than three decades. A shamanic connection with his grandfather has also accompanied him from a young age, shaping his path in subtle yet profound ways.

While living in Australia, David developed a deep relationship with the Native American-style flute, feeling it as a voice of the land and a bridge to multidimensional realms. In recent years, light/source languages and healing codes have started to emerge in his practice, offering tools for reconnection with our essence and inner truth.

David offers group sessions in Qi Gong and Movement & Sound Alchemy, as well as one-to-one sessions in movement, sound, and craniosacral therapy. Enquiries: Contact David on 07342 212 194

WHERE : Meet at The HUT at the Planetary Healing Community Woodland, Cockburnhill Road / Buteland Road, Balerno, EH14 7JB. Bus 44 / 44A. At the village, stop at the third bus stop after the roundabout. From there, enter Cockburnhill Road and walk for approximately 15 minutes and at the V junction turn right and walk for 2 minutes until you see the Planetary Healing sign on your left. Once you've reached the sign, enter the woodland and follow the stream, crossing the bridges as you go.

PARKING: Please park before the 'T' junction on Cockburnhill Road, then walk approx 2 minutes after the 'T' junction following the signs to the woodland entrance.

WEATHER: Mix of indoors and outdoors session, please bring warm and waterproof layers to wear. We will be comfy in the Hut where we have wood burner stoves and flatback comfortable seats.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Space is limited, so if for any reason you need to cancel, please let us know asap, so we can free up the space for others on the waiting list. Due to the amount of work involved, donations are non-refundable.

WHAT TO BRING: If your event is 3 hours or more, you are welcome to bring a snack. We will provide tea and coffee. 

PHOTOS: Occasionally we take group pictures for promotions, reports,  funders, newsletter and social media. If you would prefer not to be in the picture, please communicate this to the facilitator on arrival.
