You are warmly invited to gather with us for our Beltaine Community Fire — a celebration of fertility, renewal, and the vibrant life force of nature.

While the Spring Equinox marked the beginning of spring, Beltaine honours the height of the season, when the Earth is fully awake and bursting with growth, colour, and possibility. It is also the traditional beginning of the light half of the Celtic year.

We’ll come together around the sacred fire to welcome this fertile, abundance and creative time with gratitude and joy — connecting with the land, each other, and the ancient rhythms of the wheel of the year.

You are welcome to arrive at any point. 

What to expect:

• Fire ceremony and seasonal blessings
• Connection with nature, ourselves, and each other
• Songs, stories, and sharing in circle
• A gentle and inclusive space for all ages

Let us gather in celebration and community as the wheel keeps turning.

DONATIONS: Our work is guided by the principle that holistic ways, nature and community should be accessible to all. While donations help us sustain our offerings, everyone is welcome — if a donation isn’t possible for you, simply book a free space with our full support and blessing.

WHERE : Meet at the Planetary Healing Community Woodland, Cockburnhill Road, Balerno, EH14 7JB. Bus 44 / 44A. At the village, stop at the third bus stop after the roundabout. From there, enter Cockburnhill Road and walk for approximately 15 minutes and at the V junction turn right and walk for 2 minutes until you see the Planetary Healing sign on your left. Once you've reached the sign, enter the woodland and follow the stream, crossing the bridges as you go.

PARKING: Please park before the 'T' junction on Cockburnhill Road, then walk approx 2 minutes after the 'T' junction following the signs to the woodland entrance.

EMAIL REMINDER: You will get an email reminder of your event 3 days before it. Please make sure you add holistic@planetary-healing.org to your email address book or safe senders list. Also keep a regular eye on your inbox and spam folders as sometimes our emails end up there. This way you won't miss out on any important updates regarding your booking.

NOTE: On your arrival, please feel free to let us know your preferred pronouns (e.g. he/him, she/her, they/them) and what name you would like us to refer to you by.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Space is limited, so if for any reason you need to cancel, please let us know asap, so we can free up the space for others on the waiting list. Due to the amount of work involved, donations are non-refundable.

PHOTOS: Occasionally we take group pictures for promotions, reports,  funders, newsletter and social media. If you would prefer not to be in the picture, please communicate this to the facilitator on arrival.
