Journey Through the Seasons: A Nature Connection Adventure

Come walk the wild with us! We’ll follow the rhythm of the Earth, tuning into the magic of each season—feeling the shift in the wind, the song of the trees, and the heartbeat of the land. As we move together through the cycles of life, we’ll deepen our connection to nature, to ourselves, and to each other.

Each gathering will be a cosy circle of sharing and soulful connection. We'll play nature-based games, sing songs that root us in joy, and explore simple, meaningful activities you can take home to your family, friends, and wider community.

This isn’t just a workshop—it’s a call to action from the Earth herself. The time is now to awaken our senses, open our hearts, and step into the sacred work of nurturing future generations and helping our planet thrive.

ABOUT ADELE

Adele is a seasoned guide on the path of deep nature connection. Since 2010, she’s inspired countless hearts through her warm, welcoming, and wisdom-filled work at the Planetary Healing Centre. Her toolkit is rich with practices from the 8 Shields model, deep nature connection mentoring, and experiences gathered from Scottish land-based education projects and global indigenous knowledge systems, including time with the Q’ero and Quechua of Peru and the Misak of Colombia. Whether working with school groups or community circles, Adele brings stories, songs, and spark that light up the natural world.

ABOUT DEBORA

Debora is a vibrant, youthful soul with a deep respect for the intelligence and freedom of children. She has always believed that connecting kids with wild, natural spaces creates the most powerful environment for early learning. For Debora, play, presence, attention, and teamwork—combined with the raw elements of the wild—form the perfect foundation for a child's growth and discovery.

NOTE: Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times and you need to book here and reserve the space for your child as well.

Booking here is essential as spaces are limited to 21. We highly encourage joining all dates to maximise the benefits. However, if attending all of them is not feasible for you, feel free to select the dates that suit your availability.

WHERE : Meet at The HUT at the Planetary Healing Community Woodland, Cockburnhill Road, Balerno, EH14 7JB. Bus 44 / 44A. At the village, stop at the third bus stop after the roundabout. From there, enter Cockburnhill Road and walk for approximately 15 minutes and at the V junction turn right and walk for 2 minutes until you see the Planetary Healing sign on your left. Once you've reached the sign, enter the woodland and follow the stream, crossing the bridges as you go.

PARKING: Please park before the 'T' junction on Cockburnhill Road, then walk approx 2 minutes after the 'T' junction following the signs to the woodland entrance.

EMAIL REMINDER: You will get an email reminder of your event 3 days before it. Please make sure you add holistic@planetary-healing.org to your email address book or safe senders list. Also keep a regular eye on your inbox and spam folders as sometimes our emails end up there. This way you won't miss out on any important updates regarding your booking.

NOTE: On your arrival, please feel free to let us know your preferred pronouns (e.g. he/him, she/her, they/them) and what name you would like us to refer to you by.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Space is limited, so if for any reason you need to cancel, please let us know asap, so we can free up the space for others on the waiting list. Due to the amount of work involved, donations are non-refundable.

PHOTOS: Occasionally we take group pictures for promotions, reports, funders, newsletter and social media. If you would prefer not to be in the picture, please communicate this to the facilitator on arrival.
