Sound Bath
Date: Fri 28 Nov
Facilitator: Shonaid MacDonald
Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
ABOUT THIS WORK
Sound Baths are immersive group experiences that use sound to support relaxation, release, and restoration.
This Sound Bath session will include intention setting, clearing and balancing the energy field, and co-creating resonance through breath and chanting. You will be guided into deep relaxation using sound and visualisation to release tension, transform resistance, and support patterns of wellness.
Shonaid is trained in sound healing with a focus on group sessions and sound baths in schools. This session will begin with participants connecting with each other and a short explanation of the sound healing process, including how it works and what to expect.
We will close the session with reflection and simple self-care recommendations to take away.
NOTE: Sound baths have lots of key benefits such as stress reduction, enhanced sleep, emotional release and pain management. They are generally safe for most people and the sounds used will be gentle. However, there are specific contraindications for sound triggered epilepsy, first trimester pregnancy and pacemakers/electronic implants. There are also other relative contraindications. If you are in any doubt, please seek medical advice before attending.
ABOUT SHONAID BRIDGE-BRIGANTI
