A call from the Ancestors - Women's Event

 A call from the Ancestors - Women's Event 

You are invited to come and sit in circle with two women from very different cultures, very different ancestral lineages, very different lands and yet who have been called together to share a message that transcends all frontiers, a message that unites us, as women and as wisdom keepers of our lands.

As a Peruvian medicine woman from the Amazon, Eda does not come here to teach us her ways, but to call to us, as women, to remember our own.

Having walked the lands of Scotland barefoot and swam in the crystal-clear icy waters of our waterfalls and rivers over many seasons, Katherine has received Eda’s invitation as a profound gift to step ever more fully into her authentic embodiment as a wisdom keeper in her own right.

Eda and Katherine invite you to come and be held in a space of sacred feminine care, through gentle embodiment practices and a deepening into our true essence as women, to allow us to sit together and truly see each other, eye to eye and share our hearts and our journeys of indigenous remembering.

ABOUT EDA AND KATHERINE

Eda Zavala Lopez

Eda is a Curandera from the Peruvian Amazon with over 30 years of sacred practice. She carries the plant spirit wisdom of her Wari-Ashaninka lineage, guided by the Earth and ancestral memory. Answering a visionary call to help the women of Scotland reconnect with their native plants, soul, and power, Eda bridges continents with reverence. Her ceremonies, chants, and healing presence awaken deep remembrance, reminding us that the land holds the medicine, and the body knows the way home.

Katherine Crawley

Katherine, founder of AllKatherine, is dedicated to women’s embodied awakening. With over 30 years of yogic practice, yoga therapy training, women’s awakening coaching, and a shamanic apprenticeship in plant medicine, she mentors women and couples through retreats and workshops worldwide. Her work supports breaking free from survival patterns to reconnect with soul wisdom. Shaped by her own journey through addiction, loss, and grief, Katherine also draws on her background as an award-winning documentary filmmaker and co-author on feminine awakening.

WEATHER: We will be cosy inside the YURT where we have wood-burner stove, flab-back confortable seats and blanket. We will also have access to the garden and tea.

WHERE : Meet at the YURT, 5 Cockburn Farm Cottage,  Balerno, EH14 7JB. Bus 44 / 44A. At the village, stop at the third bus stop after the roundabout. From there, enter Cockburnhill Road and walk for approximately 12 minutes, turn right to the cottages and we are the 4th cottage, number 5. Google map will take you there if you use the postcode. 

PARKING: Free parking. Please park inside our driveway so our neighbours have their parking space. 

EMAIL REMINDER: You will get an email reminder of your event a few days before it. Please make sure you add holistic@planetary-healing.org to your email address book or safe senders list. Also keep a regular eye on your inbox and spam folders as sometimes our emails end up there. This way you won't miss out on any important updates regarding your booking.

NOTE: On your arrival, please feel free to let us know your preferred pronouns (e.g. he/him, she/her, they/them) and what name you would like us to refer to you by.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Space is limited, so if for any reason you need to cancel, please let us know asap, so we can free up the space for others on the waiting list. 

PHOTOS: Occasionally we take group pictures for promotions, reports,  funders, newsletter and social media. If you would prefer not to be in the picture, please communicate this to the facilitator on arrival.
