Men's Circles - Around Full moon

Dates around the full moon: Thu 30 Apr, Sat 30 May, Wed 24 Jun, Thu 27 Aug, Sat 26 Sep, Sat 24 Oct. 

Time: 18:30pm to 20:30pm and sharing a cup of tea with the women's group afterwards.

Men's Circles

We are inviting you to join us for a six-session programme offering a grounded, honest space to breathe, reflect, connect, and begin finding your way back to yourself.

Rooted in the quiet strength of nature and the company of other men, each session brings us together for grounding practices, honest reflection, shared listening, and hands-on activities in the landscape around us. No performance, no pretence — just a steady, real space to be human.

This programme is for men who are carrying life's experiences — be it trauma, isolation, loss, or simply the exhaustion of holding it all together alone — and who are ready, in their own time, to set some of that down. 

About Mark Halliday

Mark is a down-to-earth Scottish, co-founder of The Planetary Healing Centre. Deeply rooted in his community and well known for the trust he has built within it over many years, Mark brings a grounded, no-nonsense warmth to everything he facilitates. He is a man who speaks plainly, listens deeply, and creates spaces where other men feel genuinely safe to do the same.

While Mark facilitates the Men's Circles and Claudia facilitates the Women's Circles, both programmes run in parallel — offering each group their own dedicated space for healing and personal development. You are warmly welcome to invite your partner to join the other circle.

At approximately 8:30pm, both circles converge for an hour of shared community time — connection, conversation, and the simple nourishment of being together. You are welcome to bring some nibbles to share.

WEATHER: When weather is not good, we will be cosy inside the HUT where we have wood-burner stove, flab-back confortable seats and blanket.

WHERE : Meet at the HUT, PHC Community Woodland,  Balerno, EH14 7JB. Bus 44 / 44A. At the village, stop at the third bus stop after the roundabout. From there, enter Cockburnhill Road and walk for approximately 15 minutes, at the junction, turn right and walk another 2 minutes.  

PARKING: Free parking. Please park after Pirnie Ha' on Cockburnhill Road.

Also keep a regular eye on your inbox and spam folders as sometimes our emails end up there. This way you won't miss out on any important updates regarding your booking.

NOTE: On your arrival, please feel free to let us know your preferred pronouns (e.g. he/him, she/her, they/them) and what name you would like us to refer to you by.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Space is limited, so if for any reason you need to cancel, please let us know asap, so we can free up the space for others on the waiting list. Due to the amount of work involved, donations are non-refundable.

PHOTOS: Occasionally we take group pictures for promotions, reports,  funders, newsletter and social media. If you would prefer not to be in the picture, please communicate this to the facilitator on arrival.
