Autumn Equinox-Fire Ceremony
In ancient times, humans walked meaningful paths of reverence toward the sacred elements — a symbol of respect, bringing balance and harmony to life. Fire was one of these elements, representing healing, liberation, and un nuevo comienzo — a new beginning.
Grandmother Eda will share the symbolism of releasing sadness, old trauma, and emotional tension through the creation of the Despacho — a kind of sacred envelope holding small offerings of leaves, seeds, and dried flowers. Once created, it is given back to the sacred Fire, transformed into ashes — and from those ashes, we are reborn into un nuevo comienzo, a new beginning.
MORE ABOUT EDA
In 2025, something extraordinary happened. A grandmother from the Amazon rainforest - a healer, a wisdom keeper, a rare female shaman, was guided by the plants themselves to travel across continents and step onto Scottish soil.
Eda is deeply connected to her lineage and her mission now is to help us remember our own connection.
Her presence here is medicine, not just for individuals, but for the land, for the collective, and for the generations of people reclaiming their intuition, their voice, and their connection to purpose. She carries an unbroken thread, a living connection to her ancestors, her land, her plants, her ceremonies, her cosmology. A thread that many here in the British Isles have spent lifetimes searching for and this is an opportunity for us to remember.
In Eda’s own words:
“Since I started my pilgrimage to the British Isles I have learned a more refined Mother Earth Wisdom, specifically related to Scotland and ancient Celtic Culture. I can sense the weaving of ancient ways of wisdom which comes from indigenous roots here. This is a crucial moment where my own indigenous experience can help people reconnect with their own roots and bring their wisdom back. The Universe has brought me out here to play a certain role, helping me draw visions that unveil more intricate knowledge the people here hold but have forgotten".
