The Perfect Pitch

Whether delivering a formal presentation or providing a summary of your organisation at a networking event, being ready to ‘pitch’ is ever-important.

As part of the Sector Support programme at Community Foundation North East, we are delighted to offer this interactive and engaging workshop. This session will inspire fresh-thinking for your next pitch and guidance on tailoring your message to the audience, setting and time-frame. Crucially, we will consider the purpose of your pitch. You may be pursuing financial investment, opportunities to collaborate or an introduction to a particular person. Whatever the intention, it is essential to remember to include this ‘ask’ with confidence.

The focus:

• Preparing physiologically and emotionally to show up well under pressure
• Structuring a clear and compelling narrative for the audience and occasion
• Telling the organisational story in a way that lands emotionally and credibly
• Embedding ‘the ask’ with clarity

You will leave this session feeling motivated to tell a memorable story and achieve your ambitions.

Your host is Colette Harrison, Sector Support Manager and this event will be facilitated by Paul Weedon, Commercial Communications Advisor. Paul draws on decades of experience coaching leaders at Amazon, PepsiCo, and Lancôme on how to communicate with confidence and impact.
