Please join us for a special event featuring George Clarke, architect and television host.
The North East Roots initiative, led by Community Foundation North East, aims to build pathways to opportunity for young people in North East England. It enables anyone with a connection to the region to give back and make a difference for young people facing the greatest barriers to social mobility.
As a North East Roots Ambassador, George Clarke, along with a panel of expert guests, will make the case for investing in the foundations of a strong regional economy – young people with viable pathways to education, training or employment. We will examine not only the gaps between the UK’s regions but the common challenges and opportunities when it comes to tackling the youth employment crisis.
Programme:
- Drinks reception with special guest, George Clarke
- Remarks from Community Foundation North East
- A conversation with George Clarke
- Panel discussion with leaders in business, community and philanthropy
Please consider who else should attend – this event is for people with an interest in boosting social mobility and tackling the youth employment crisis in North East England, London and beyond.
