Join Curious Arts and Community Foundation North East to find out more about the application processes to access funding and non-financial support.
This is an in-person event hosted at Tyneside Cinema on 5th November, 10am-12pm, and is specifically for LGBTQIA+ Organisations.
This Time to Talk session is open to anyone connected to a charitable organisation, supporting LGBT+ communities. We welcome volunteers, staff members and trustees.
The event will begin with an informal presentation followed by a Q&A with Phil Douglas and Colette Harrison. The second part of the session offers two options;
• informal networking an opportunity to connect and or share good practice
• live demonstration of the Community Foundation application portal
"Time to Talk was practical, welcoming and genuinely useful. It was relaxed and friendly, and it was good to properly chat with other people doing similar work. I left with new connections, ideas and more confidence knowing what to do with our funding applications. Community Foundation North East is a friendly and lovely team and they really seem to understand what small community organisations need." - attendee
Colette Harrison, Sector Support Manager and Jo Cundall, Senior Programme Advisor (Culture) will set the scene for applying for funding and support, including practical tips for your application. Leanne Wilson, Grant Support Officer will then provide a demonstration of the grantee portal, to guide you through the process of registering and making an application.
If you want to learn more about the Community Foundation North East or have any questions about how you put yourselves in the best position to be successful with your funding applications, please join us at Tyneside Cinema.
We look forward to seeing you there.
