The Mayor’s Opportunity Fund aims to create new opportunities to ensure that the North East is a cohesive, inclusive and resilient region where everyone thrives and has the opportunity to contribute to the region’s success.

The first round of the Mayor’s Opportunity Fund will invest £225,000 in small charities and community groups across our region. Funding will be targeted at small charities and community groups delivering activity that supports cohesion, inclusion and resilience in some of our most socially and economically deprived areas. Grants will be made between £1,000 to £10,000.
