After a commission with the Royal Marines and a multinational career in emerging IT, Clive founded Blyth Tall Ship in 2010. He has subsequently grown the charity through over £5m of funding and working with over 400 volunteers to employ heritage skills and assets to regenerate a depravation area through well-being, employability and income generating visitor initiatives. Clive believes that fundamental to the charity's growth, beyond forming motivated teams and collaborating widely, is the ability to quickly evaluate and prioritise new ideas to enable a clear focus on key strategic activities and respond to fast moving events, thus creating a high probability of success.

In advance of this workshop, please consider the opportunities facing your organisations or challenges inhibiting your ambitions to ensure that this session is relevant and constructive. Expect a lively, supportive and energising conversation.

This event is hosted by Colette Harrison, Development Officer Sector Support and offered as part of the Sector Support programme at Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland in celebration of Small Charity Week.
