Larkhall Festival Open Gardens Trail

Mon 4 May 2026 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM 43 Eastbourne Avenue, BA1 6EN

We're taking part in the Larkhall Festival Open Gardens Trail!

Come and have a look around some wildlife friendly gardens, each on a journey to support as much wildlife as possible. Find out about ways you can support wildlife in your green space, ask questions, get inspired, have a chat with like minded people.

Gardens on the trail which are part of the Community Nature Haven are:

  • 43 Eastbourne Avenue (entrance to back garden via lane behind) - 2 ponds, lots of native wildflowers, fruit trees and bushes (on the way to becoming a food forest - inc perennial veg), mini meadow, habitat benches, rainwater harvesting, upcycled greenhouse, rain garden. Plant and Seed Swap. Find out more about the Community Nature Haven and how to register your green space.
  • Eastbourne Avenue Front Gardens for Wildlife Project - a collection of front gardens on Eastbourne Avenue each working to support wildlife in different ways, at different stages of their journey - forming a mosaic of habitats - blackboards for info, plant and seed swap.
  • 18 Larkhall Place & Neighbours - A collective of gardens working together for wildlife, creating a mosaic of habitats together across gardens, sharing plants and greenhouses, building community (including a community of badgers!)
  • 28 Seymour Road - A child friendly and wildlife friendly garden.
  • 28 Tyning Terrace - An originally more formal veg garden transformed to be wildlife friendly - raised beds over-flowing, greenhouse, pond, hedge, fruit trees

You can find out more about the Larkhall Festival and Garden Trail here: larkhallfestival.com/ So much happening over the weekend. We'll be at the Village Green in Larkhall Square on Sunday sharing information about the Community Nature Haven and all things Gardening for Wildlife.
A map of all the open gardens will be available soon - there are so many other amazing ones to visit, lots of which are also brilliant for wildlife!

Everyone welcome!
No need to book a ticket - just using this space to share info!
