Community Gardening - Sunday Sessions!
St Saviours Church, Larkhall
Come and help garden for wildlife on some of the verges and parks in our area. We'll be Sowing Seeds, Planting Wildflowers & Perennial Fruit/Vegetables, plus creating Insect Habitats like dead hedges and habitat piles. The aim is to increase diversity of plants, to support insects and the rest of the web of life they feed on. Plus getting outdoors, taking action for wildlife, and connecting with others, makes us feel good!
With permission from Bath & North East Somerset Council via their Neighbourhood Nature Area's scheme, where you can adopt a patch in your local area to garden for wildlife.
We will provide seeds and plug plants
We have a small amount of tools, but please bring your own if you have them - trowel/spade/rake/kneeler
Refreshments provided
Open to all, children with their adults.
Please let us know if you have any accessibility needs so that we can ensure we accommodate them
If you know of another patch that could be better for wildlife, and would like help registering it as a Neighbourhood Nature Area or gardening it, do let us know!
