Safeguarding Adults, Children and Young People in the East Riding

This session will provide an introduction to safeguarding children, and adopting safer cultures within voluntary and community settings in the East Riding. 

AIMS OF THE SESSION:-

• To look at what safeguarding is and why it is important
• To know what harm and abuse is, and how it might affect us and others around us
• To look at how adopt safer recruitment and cultures to keep ourselves and others safe in our setting
• To explore what we need to do if we have a safeguarding concern
