Have your say and help shape the future for young people across the East Riding! ๐
The East Riding Youth Council is a placeย for young people aged 11โ18 (up to 25 with additional needs) from across the East Riding of Yorkshire to come together, share their views, and make a positive difference in their communities.
Youth Council meetings provide a safe, inclusive and supportive space where young people can:
๐ Discuss issues that matter to them and other young people
๐ฃ๏ธ Influence local decision-making and shape services
๐ค Meet new people, develop friendships and work as part of a team
๐ก Develop confidence, leadership and communication skills
๐ข Plan campaigns, consultations and projects on topics affecting young people
๐๏ธ Engage with local councillors, decision-makers and partner organisations
๐ฏ Represent the views of young people across the East Riding
Whether you are passionate about mental health, transport, climate change, youth services, community safety, or simply want to have your voice heard, the Youth Council welcomes new members from all backgrounds and experiences.
