Mozartiana: Recital & Conversation

ConcertLab Performance

Join internationally acclaimed violinist Clarissa Bevilacqua for an intimate and inspiring evening of music and dialogue on May 15, 2026 at 20:00 (doors open 19:15).

Clarissa Bevilacqua

Violinist Clarissa Bevilacqua is quickly gaining attention for her expressive, refined playing — described as “luminously elevated” (Gramophone) and “elegant and nimble” (The Strad).

Her 2025/26 season includes major solo debuts with leading orchestras such as the Münchner Symphoniker and Münchener Kammerorchester, alongside performances in renowned venues across Europe and beyond — from Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie to Paris’ Théâtre des Champs-Élysées.

Alongside her concert career, Clarissa is deeply involved in recording and contemporary music. Her debut album Mozartiana (Berlin Classics, 2026) highlights her connection to Mozart, while her collaborations with modern composers have led to several works written especially for her.

She has performed with orchestras including the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo and BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and regularly appears in chamber projects, exploring repertoire that ranges from classical to unexpected genres.

Beyond the stage, she is the founder and artistic director of DYNAMIKfest Salzburg, a festival dedicated to supporting young artists and bringing fresh perspectives to classical music.

Clarissa Bevilacqua

“Clarissa’s playing is absolutely sublime. The depth of her musicality allied to her world-class technical skill result in performances that dazzle and inspire! I was completely energized by Clarissa and her playing.”
— Augusta Read Thomas, composer
